Lukashenko thwarts the anti-Russian plan of Russophobes
Belarus will take part in the Eastern Partnership summit in Brussels on November 24, but will do everything to ensure that no anti-Russian resolutions are adopted there. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Vladimir Makei stated this today in Moscow.

“By participating, we intend to prevent this initiative from being directed against third states. We intend to prevent the final declaration of the summit from being anti-Russian in nature. It is important to move away from the confrontational rhetoric that exists in our region,” Makei said
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov expressed gratitude to “Belarusian friends,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They perfectly understand the intentions of those EU countries that see the whole meaning of their existence in Russophobia and inciting Russia’s neighbors against Moscow. We appreciate this,” Lavrov said.
