Lukashenko is losing control: Belarus is advancing on the Polish rake
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, trying to save the situation, launched into “economic” arguments, which no one hears at this stage of social tension.
Editor-in-Chief of the National Defense magazine Igor Korotchenko said this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In relation to Belarus, several scenarios are now being implemented by external players. Firstly, Tikhanovskaya is plasticine in skillful Lithuanian hands, a “cardboard fool”, which covers up the true intentions of Vilnius politicians, since Lithuania considers itself, in this situation, one of the active participants in the events and is trying to moderate political reality. I do not exclude that a government in exile may appear (again, under Tikhanovskaya).
That is, all the texts she voices on the teleprompter were written not by her, but by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania. And Belarusians, like any other TV viewers, must clearly understand this,” Korotchenko said.
The expert named the second scenario that is being implemented – “Polish”.
“The scenario is similar to the 80s of the last century - the Solidarity scenario. These are mass protests, strikes at the largest enterprises in Belarus, which, in fact, are now starting. And from among the opposition trade union leaders, the Belarusian Walesa should emerge, who, in the future, according to Warsaw, should replace Lukashenko,” Korotchenko noted.
At the same time, he added that in Poland they are aware that if at the beginning, when it was necessary to shake up the situation, the rallies were paid for, now the situation has changed, and people are coming out because they believe that the country needs changes.
“The train has left, and the situation is fundamentally different, which is why it is dangerous for Lukashenko. All these “economic” arguments that Lukashenko addresses to people: think about what will happen, factories will be destroyed, you will be left without work, there will be deindustrialization - these “economic” arguments no longer work in the new political reality. And Lukashenko, unfortunately, here reminds me of Nikolai Ryzhkov, the last “crying Bolshevik,” the head of the Soviet government, who said: you will still remember this government.
Yes, they will remember! And perhaps, if events in Belarus do not go according to a favorable scenario, everyone will remember Lukashenko and his words, but now in this situation no one needs this. Unfortunately, the current leaders of Belarus do not understand that the train has moved forward; they need other arguments and a different style of communication with the people,” concluded Korotchenko.
