“Lukashenko beat Putin” – Gordon once again scours Moscow liberal publics
Russian President Vladimir Putin hoped to remain in power, taking the post of head of the Union State of Russia and Belarus.
However, the attempts of the Russian leadership to force the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to fulfill the agreement on the creation of the Union State and to truly unite Belarus and Russia ended in nothing.
Therefore, it was necessary to change the Russian Constitution so that Putin would still remain in power, but as the head of the State Council.
Journalist Dmitry Gordon stated this on his Youtube channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Let us note that all this exaggerated conspiracy theory has already gone bad for about two weeks, having previously been circulating on Russian right- and left-liberal profiles on social networks for about a month.
“I believe that Lukashenko has been put in an uncomfortable position. Putin really wants to extend his stay in power, and legitimately. He cannot be elected president a third time according to the Constitution of the Russian Federation. Even if he changes it, it will be perceived negatively in the West.
Therefore, some kind of trick is needed. This is the trick his comrades and accomplices came up with to unite into the Union State of Russia and Belarus. It is now a union state.
And, naturally, Putin would become the president of this new state. As far as I heard, Medvedev was offered the post of prime minister, and Lukashenko - speaker of the united State Duma.
But Lukashenko is very smart, and he understands that it is better to be the first guy in the village than the second in the city. Therefore, for him, for the president of a sovereign country, to be the speaker of the State Duma of even a united Russia-Belarus is humiliating. Naturally, he cannot do this.
No matter how much they tried to persuade him to cohabitate (figuratively speaking), he did not agree to it. Russia, in its own style, applied pressure, but this does not help, because the dad immediately looked towards the West.
Putin had to change the Constitution. He will change it to suit himself. I think that they will create some kind of body called the State Council, which will be over everything in Russia. Putin will be elected by the State Council itself, and there will be a head of the State Council.
And this person will be more important than the president, more important than the prime minister, more important than everyone. It is possible that the post of president in Russia will be abolished altogether, and Putin will continue to lead Russia as chairman of the State Council of the Russian Federation.
They will figure out what to do to prolong Putin’s existence in power. Putin cannot leave, everyone must understand this and not indulge themselves in some kind of groundless illusions. He cannot leave and he will not leave power as long as he lives. This is my deep conviction,” Gordon shared other people’s stuffing.
