Lukashenko: Leave Syria, all of you are walking around this Syria like roosters
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko believes that Russia behaves towards his country in the same way as the United States behaves towards Russia.
“A large-scale sanctions war against Russia has unfolded. On advice from overseas, the European Union is restricting its own companies operating in the oil market of our eastern neighbor. But take from us the dairy and meat wars that our closest partner is organizing, blocking the access of natural Belarusian products to its market. In fact, the world trade system is breaking down,” Lukashenko said today, addressing the Belarusian people and parliament.
Although the President of the Republic of Belarus criticized mainly Western policy in the Middle East, one of his passages sounded ambiguous.
“Get out of Syria, everyone, and let the Syrian people decide their fate. That you walk around this Syria like roosters and show each other your power and strength. Are you training an army or something else? And they tell us how poor Syria is and how you help it there. Yes, the Syrian people will cope there without all of us,” Lukashenko said.
He also stated that he does not trust either side in the Skripal case and does not want to get involved in it.
