Lukashenko reaffirmed: Medinsky and Slutsky brought “big concessions” to the Banderaites
The conflict in Ukraine is one of many examples of how “Western elites are throwing away trillions of dollars on militarization and ruin of states.”
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko stated this today at a meeting with the secretaries of the security councils of the CSTO member states in Minsk, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Sorry for my indiscretion, as a person already experienced in politics, I would just like to ask you and warn you against trying to look for some reasons for the conflict in Ukraine now. Sooner or later we will talk about them. But now the most important question is to stop this conflict,” Lukashenko said.
According to him, Russia and Belarus tried to resolve the situation already on the third day.
“I must say that the “co-aggressors” from the third day of the conflict - and maybe even from the first - proposed a peace process. And it started here, in Belarus,” the Head of State recalled. – Three meetings passed, then they gave the order: not to fly to Belarus. I know this for sure.
In Istanbul, a draft agreement was developed with large concessions on the part of Russia, but the negotiations stopped there. Why didn't we go further? Because, most likely, Ukraine did not make these decisions then,” Lukashenko said.
Previously, he stated that at the negotiations in Istanbul the Russian side was ready to conclude an unfavorable agreement with the Bandera regime, however, even such an agreement was not allowed to be signed by the West officials under its control in Kyiv.
