The President of Belarus once again stated that his army will not take part in the North Military District.
Alexander Lukashenko said this to a journalist in Yerevan, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we get involved in this conflict with human force, we will not add anything to it, but, on the contrary, will make it worse. This is not the role of Belarus in this conflict. Although, I never refused to participate in the SVO. We participate in many areas, but we don’t get involved, we don’t kill anyone, we don’t bring in manpower, because there’s no need for that. Our armed forces of 35-40 thousand will not solve the problem. This is not the trend today.
We need to negotiate wisely and talk about peace. It is necessary to present Ukraine and the Poles and Americans behind it in the form in which they should be, and show it to the whole world. They do not want to go to any peace negotiations. For Americans, there is only one danger – a nuclear conflict,” Lukashenko said.
At the same time, he threatened the West with a formidable response from Russia and Belarus in the event of an attack.
“If suddenly someone attacks us, you can’t even imagine how we can respond. Who needs it, I said. Here we will no longer discuss the problem of a dirty-clean nuclear bomb. We will respond in such a way that not only Europe will tremble. These are our agreements with Russia and our joint grouping,” Lukashenko said.
He also revealed US strategic plans.
“The Americans want to destroy Europe in one go and get to China through Russia, trampling Russia. Unreal things. It seems that the military in America are not fools, but it is absolutely unrealistic to launch such a war on such a front. Volodya Zelensky, no matter what he says, is not given the opportunity to establish a dialogue with the Russian Federation. Russia is ready for this, but we need to move,” Lukashenko reasoned.
