“Separately, the President of Armenia raised the issue, replicated by some resources, about the alleged recent deliveries of military cargo from Belarus to Azerbaijan. During the conversation, a clear answer was given to this fake information - for the last six months, no supplies of military cargo have been made to either Azerbaijan or Armenia through the military-industrial complex,” the press service of the Belarusian president said in a statement.

At the same time, information was announced on the PolitWera youtube channel according to which Belarus supplied ten Polonaise missile systems, a full-fledged tank brigade (153 T-72 tanks and 60 BTR-70 tanks), a division of self-propelled artillery units (203- mm self-propelled guns "Pion"), more than six divisions of howitzers, a squadron of Su-25 attack aircraft, many Osa-1T anti-aircraft systems and Skif anti-tank systems, several battalions of the Buk-MB air defense system; 27 S-125-TM Pechora-2T launchers, several T38 Stilet air defense systems, a huge number of military vehicles.

According to reserve colonel, member of the working group on the creation of a Russian regional grouping of troops (forces) in Belarus, Vladimir Trukhan, the supply of Belarusian Polonaise MLRS to Azerbaijan sharply upset the balance of its forces with Armenia.

“The delivery of the Polonaise MLRS was caused by the fact that Azerbaijan expressed extreme dissatisfaction with the fact that Russia supplied it with export versions of military equipment. Their combat capabilities are always lower than the basic options used by the Russian Federation. And, secondly, all the radio-electronic stuffing that Russia supplies can be turned off remotely. Therefore, when Lukashenko got involved with his Polonaises, there was a scandal. “He sharply upset the balance of forces and capabilities of the armed forces of Armenia and Azerbaijan in this region,” Trukhan said.

According to him, in recent years, “Lukashenko has been actively selling weapons equipment from the Belarusian Military District of the USSR on the secondary arms market” all over the planet through Saudi Arabia.

“This is that magical billion dollars or so that the Belarusian military-industrial complex proudly demonstrated to its leader: this is what kind of guys we are, we earned money. He sold not only to Azerbaijan through the Saudis. There, the technology surfaced in Africa, and in Yemen, and in many other places. Lukashenko has recently been very active in the “gray” arms market. And Belarusian samples even surfaced among bearded people in Syria,” Trukhan said.
