Lukashenko praises the USA and China, “forgetting” about high-tech assistance to Russia
Belarus is obliged to agree on strategic cooperation with the United States and China in the field of digitalization. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko stated this today, addressing the parliament and the people, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The leaders of digitalization in the world have been identified. These are the USA and China. We are obliged to agree with them on direct strategic cooperation in this area,” Lukashenko said.
The next topic of his speech was nuclear energy. Speaking about its importance, Lukashenko did not mention a word that the Belarusian nuclear power plant is being built with Russian loans, with the help of Russian specialists and with Russian technologies.
The Belarusian president remembered his ally in a completely different, negative context.
“Due to the oil dispute with Russia, the budget lost one and a half billion rubles,” Lukashenko said.
According to him, “integration alliances and blocs are essentially paralyzed; in just two or three months, the most stable ties have been destroyed.”
