Lukashenko: Everything that Belarus produces. – Russia will buy
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that everything his country produces can be bought by Russia.
He stated this in an interview with CNN, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We lived without the European Union, and will live for many more years. Besides you, the world is huge. It may be small, but it is huge. And what we need to sell (the main question is to sell what we produce), everything can simply be consumed by Russia. One Russia.
And we also have China, which has a population of one and a half billion - our friends. We'll sell something else there. We will sell in Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, India. We have normal relations with them. We can do without you. Without you and without America. We’ll get by in the future,” Lukashenko said.
He claims that Russia does not demand anything from Belarus for economic support.
“Listen, you have Anglo-Saxon thinking. We never have a conversation like this, either with President Putin or at other levels. We are there for something, and you pay us, or we promise something. We are fraternal peoples, we are peoples from the same root - Belarusians and Russians. You probably know better than me, because you are from the outside: we are absolutely no different from each other either externally or internally. We have a common policy, common goals. And we are moving towards these goals in the same way. And we don't need any promises. We are close native peoples. And without promises, we will build our future, and even you cannot stop us,” Lukashenko said.
