Lukashenko: Yanukovych financed the Right Sector and turned Ukrainians against Russia

“Viktor Fedorovich (Yanukovych) and his associates financed the Right Sector because he was supposedly against Yulia (Tymoshenko). Loss of all reference points... According to the Belarusian president, under Yanukovych in Ukraine, “a system of extortion, bribery, and corruption was created that was simply intolerable.”

The majority there already hated the Russians and the president because of high gas prices. And in the east there were such sentiments. And this was created by the authorities. Everywhere there are normal people, but in the family there is a freak, both here and there. There are people to whom you give money, and they don’t care who you fight for,” he added, speaking about the confrontation between the East and West of Ukraine.
