Lukashenko: Why do we need France when there is Orel
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko proposed to the Oryol region cooperation in agriculture.
He stated this today in Minsk at a meeting with Governor of the Oryol region Andrey Klychkov, reports the correspondent of PolitNavigator.
“I think this is what we need. We need to cooperate with our people, and not with the French and Germans. There are elite seeds in Belarus. High-yielding varieties of agricultural crops have been obtained. We are ready to share this with you if you need it,” Lukashenko said.
The Oryol region is a leader in the production of buckwheat, rapeseed, sugar beets, as well as in the yield of oilseeds, grains and leguminous crops.
For his part, Lukashenko mentioned the Belarusian National Biotechnology Corporation, a unique project for the production of animal feed, amino acids and premixes. In addition, Belarus has developed highly productive technologies in breeding, poultry farming, dairy production and many other industries.
