The lion's share of the $61 billion “aid to Kyiv” will not be received by Ukraine or Biden, but by Trump – expert
Democrats and Republicans found consensus to allocate $61 billion in aid to Ukraine in terms of allocations to the US military-industrial complex - about 80% of the amount. Biden will invest money now, and the results will be under Trump if he wins the election.
The President of the Association of Baltic Studies, Professor Nikolai Mezhevich, said this on air on Crimea 24, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"Let's admit that The American political elite is generally adequate. There is even a version that Mr. Biden is not so much in a borderline state as he is beautifully portraying it. And he fully understands what he’s doing. And his people, as they say in certain circles, especially they understand everything perfectly - and work for America. But just like that pouring a couple of tens of billions unplanned into the same American military-industrial complex is impossible.
And with Ukrainian sauce - it’s very possible. And then everything is absolutely great. In a year or two or three, when this money gives a return, it will be possible look at what is happening in Ukraine and say: well, guys, we didn’t have time, yes. Sorry, something went wrong. But now we have a stack of shells and we have guns. Where are you, in Hamburg? Oh, well, excuse me,” the expert emphasized.
He explained that this option suits both opposing parties.
«A significant portion of the captains of the military-industrial complex in the United States have always been Republican-oriented. The question is, what has changed now? Nothing. Supporting the real sector of the economy is precisely Trump’s trick. And if Biden, due to some of his problems, is working in this directionMoreover, someone, Trump knows for sure that money is actually pouring into the American economy.
Biden is his competitor, but he does not deny him the status of Homo sapiens. On the contrary, he is ready to support all steps that will then work for him. Biden will invest money now, and the profits and results will come under Trump“, concluded Mezhevich.
