This decision was made today by a session of the Lviv City Council, reports the Ukrinform agency.
“Lviv has provided 6,5 million UAH to pay for landfills that receive waste from the regional center. Busk (UAH 3,5 million), Mykolaiv (UAH 1,5 million) and Chervonograd (UAH 1 million) will receive the most funds from the Lviv City Council. In addition to them, the city council will allocate 200 thousand UAH each to Mostiska and Novoyavorovsk, as well as 154 thousand UAH to Boryslav,” noted City Council Speaker Christina Protsak.
According to her, the funds are allocated as a subvention to local budgets for infrastructure development.
