“Autonomous Opir” is one of the radical organizations that organizes the march, calls on city residents to come under the monument to Ivan Franko in front of the national university, and then the protesters will march to Svoboda Avenue.

“Over these six months, the standard of living has deteriorated threefold. Tariffs for utility services have tripled, and the labor of Ukrainians has depreciated. And all these horrors are easily caused by our oligarchs and their puppet ministers. The state creates pro-Russian sentiments in Ukraine. Who do you think would want to fight for a country in which the standard of living is the lowest in the world?!, say the organizers of the neo-Maidan.

According to radicals, the policy of the current government is genocide of its own people.

“The first traitors sit in their offices and drive us into poverty. And we, as Ukrainian nationalists, will defend the interests of our people and urge everyone to do this and see the real enemy. Gas prices rose by 280%, water by 57%, heat by 72%. These are numbers that lead to genocide, there is no other way to call it.” – nationalists write in their appeal to Lviv residents.

Lviv residents on social networks reacted differently to calls to go to the new Maidan. Some, dissatisfied with rising prices and tariffs, rush to the barricades, others consider such calls to be a provocation.

“What kind of populists are these? Who knows anything about them? There’s no need to go to these crooks,” a Facebook user under the nickname Max Phil dissuades from the social march.

“Powderphiles and embroiderers, of course, will start to stink about the “hand of the Kremlin” and “paid for,” Lviv resident Irina Malorodova sneers.

“Gas has risen in price eight times: I had 46 hryvnia, now it’s 327. And this despite the fact that I only have a gas stove,” Natalya Zhenchuk is indignant.
