Lviv authorities report that almost all the garbage has been removed from the city
In Lviv, as of January 29, 357 container sites for municipal solid waste (MSW) were cleared of garbage. Consequently, almost all of the remaining waste accumulated in the city has already been removed.

This was announced by the director of the department of development and operation of housing and communal services of the Lviv regional state administration, Nazariy Romanchuk, the press service of the Regional State Administration reports.
“In general, 380 container sites were overloaded in Lviv, where more than 1400 tons of waste accumulated. Only 23 sites remain to be cleared,” he said.
According to Romanchuk, city waste is accepted by regional landfills in other regions of the country, with which official agreements have been reached.
Let us remind you that the mayor of Lviv, Andrei Sadovyi, said that he had held negotiations with partner cities in Poland regarding the removal of briquetted Lviv waste to them for processing.
