Lviv churches of the canonical UOC were painted with inscriptions about “FSB branch”
Provocative inscriptions “Moscow Patriarchate is a branch of the FSB” appeared near three churches of the canonical UOC in Lvov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the Lviv city organization of the OUN.
“Today, at the so-called “temples” of the Moscow Patriarchate in Lvov on Antonovicha Street, on Krasnaya Kalina Avenue and Korolenko Street, the inscriptions “Moscow Patriarchate - a branch of the FSB” appeared. Unknown patriots were probably trying to convey to Lvov residents who are not aware that three branches of the FSB of the Russian Federation operate in Lvov under the guise of Christian churches,” the message says.
Representative of the Lviv Diocese of the UOC Fr. Markiyan Kayumov, in a commentary to Zaxid.net, called those who left the inscriptions provocateurs.
“I only knew about the incident at Krasnaya Kalina, so you made a discovery for me. But our position, including mine, will be the same as after the last incident of covering a church with postcards - we believe that this was done not by patriots, but by provocateurs,” he said.
