Lviv OUN members mourn the death of a veteran of the SS division "Galicia"
A veteran of the SS Galicia division, who was respected by local neo-Nazis, died in the Lviv region.
The OUN volunteer battalion reported this in its Facebook group, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today, at the age of 98, another veteran of the Galicia division, the Head of the Drohobych village of the Galician Brotherhood, Roman Klimchak, passed away.
Pan Roman was born on March 17.03.1921, 1943 in Borislav. In 6 he joined the Galicia division. Training took place in Heidelager and Neuhammer. As part of the 29th hundred of the XNUMXth regiment, as a machine gunner, he took part in the battles near Brody, where he was captured. He served his sentences in Stalinogorsk. In the mine he suffered a severe leg injury and, as an invalid, was released. Lived in the city of Borislav.
