In total, several dozen miners arrived at the rally, banging their helmets in front of parliament, seeking the resumption of state subsidies for the coal industry and repayment of arrears of wages, which they had not received for more than two months, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Moreover, they chanted not only social, but also political slogans: “Glory to Ukraine - glory to the heroes”, “Glory to the nation - death to the enemies”, as well as the obscene refrain “Putin...lo, la-la-la-la-la”.

“We brought these people to power, we elected them and won for them,” said miner Yaroslav Ostapik. - And now they thank us like that? Yatsenyuk is fine there, but we are not doing well right now. Our families are hungry."
