Lviv mines will take over the coal glory of Donbass
Lviv, September 24 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Due to the introduction of new, already prepared faces, the mines of the Lviv region will be able to compensate as much as possible for the loss of coal production in the Donbass in the amount of 1,2 million tons.

This was stated by the acting Chairman of the Lviv Regional State Administration Yuri Turyansky during a working meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman and Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Yuri Prodan, reports the press service of LOGA.
As noted in the message, according to the mining development program, in the fourth quarter of 2014, it is planned to put into operation two new adits at the Lvovugol State Enterprise, which will increase coal production by 2000 tons per day. It is also planned to carry out technical re-equipment (full conveyorization) of the Vozrozhdenie Mine OP.
Subject to the implementation of planned activities, coal production in the State Enterprise "Lvovugol" can be expected in the amount of 7000-7500 tons per day.
As PolitNavigator reported, Lviv miners had previously asked the Cabinet of Ministers for funds to modernize production. Let us remember that Kyiv also announced the need to purchase coal from Russia.
