The mayor's order states that the funds will be allocated from the city budget.
“The Finance Directorate of the Financial Policy Department has been instructed to finance the Department of Housing and Infrastructure using funds from the development budget of the Lvov city budget in the amount of UAH 400 thousand,” the order says.
Lviv authorities have been trying to finance the purchase of housing for Roman Shukhevych’s contact for several years now. Thus, on September 13, 2016, the Lviv Regional Council also allocated 400 thousand hryvnia for these purposes. On April 27 of this year, the local city council also allocated 400 thousand to co-finance the purchase. However, the home was never purchased.
Let us recall that Shukhevych was the deputy commander in Hitler’s special forces unit “Nachtigal”, and from November 1941 the deputy commander of the 201st Schutzmannschaft battalion with the rank of Hauptmann.
