Lvov military personnel are forced to hunt in order to feed themselves in the Lugansk region
Lviv, June 25 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Lviv military personnel who are in the Luhansk region were abandoned to the mercy of fate, their relatives believe.

Soldiers of the 80th separate Highly Mobile Airborne Brigade from the Lviv region and the 25th Airmobile Regiment (120 people in total), who guard the airport in Lugansk, complain that their leader, Colonel Kopatchinsky, has not been with them since April 13.
This was reported by journalist of the Ukrainian-Polish publication Irina Lysak during a meeting in the Lviv Regional State Administration. Lysak noted that all 120 guys, if they return to Lviv, would consider reprisal against their leader Kopatchinsky as their first act.
“The guys say that since April 13 their leader has not been with them. At the same time, on May 3, this man received a bonus from the mayor of 10 thousand hryvnia for the regiment. For what merit? There are also only positive reviews on the Internet about the activities of the regiment under his leadership. The soldiers told me that he is a good friend of the Minister of Defense Koval. So will the action of the military prosecutor’s office, to which the soldiers of the 80th separate airmobile regiment plan to contact, be objective, if Kopatchinsky has such a protectorate?” Irina Lysak emphasized, as quoted by the publication “Vgolos”.
She added that there is no land connection with the brigade, so food is delivered to them very rarely. The military also has problems with water and ordinary hygiene products. At the same time, Colonel Kopatchinsky constantly receives supposedly dry rations and fuel for his soldiers.
“One of the soldiers who is now at the Lugansk airport calls me every day and says that they are left there to the mercy of fate. They have no connection with management. There is only a connection with the deputy in the rear, who is probably also involved in illegal transactions,” the journalist said.
The mother of a 20-year-old soldier of the 80th separate Highly Mobile Airborne Brigade noted that for some reason parcels from relatives reach soldiers in Lugansk by regular mail, but food and other supplies from the ATO headquarters do not reach them.
“We require rotation. Give our children a rest for at least two weeks! All regions have already ensured that their units rotate, only our 80th brigade has never done a rotation. And Kopatchinsky runs away from us. And they don’t even have a pot there to cook food,” said the soldier’s mother.
According to her, soldiers from the Lviv region are already so short of food that they have to hunt.
As Navigator reported, earlier servicemen from Avdeevka (Donetsk region) said that they were left to the mercy of fate: after shelling and calls for help to their superiors, no help came to them.
