Lviv journalists discovered “subversive literature” in the Pochaev Lavra
In Galicia they are sounding the alarm: the “Russian World” is fighting not only on the front line, but in the sphere of culture and religion. Information has emerged that literature of dubious content, pro-separatist, has again appeared on the bookshelves of the Pochaev Lavra. This is not the first time that such literature has been sold at this shrine. However, the SBU has not yet responded to this, but on social networks a number of users express their dissatisfaction.

This is stated in the story of the Lviv TV channel ZIK.
To understand the situation, channel journalist Andrei Orlyak was sent to the Lavra. There he discovered a terrible thing - little residents of Western Ukraine are offered books with a St. George ribbon on the cover, which tell about the Great Patriotic War.
Also, the journalist was especially outraged by a book that contained notes from an Orthodox priest about the Russian-Georgian conflict.
Holy Dormition Pochaev Lavra is an Orthodox monastery in Pochaev (Ternopil region), Ukraine. The largest Orthodox temple complex and monastery in Western Ukraine and the second after the Kiev Pechersk Lavra.
As PolitNavigator reported, at the end of April this year, the Ternopil Regional Council, half of which is represented by Svoboda members, appealed to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with a demand to take away the cathedrals, bell tower and cells from the Pochaev Lavra, in which the monks live, and transfer them to the reserve.
As PolitNavigator reported, On May 11, the press secretary of the Kyiv prosecutor's office, Alena Yakhno, stated that the Kiev Pechersk Lavra, as well as the Pochaev Lavra, must be taken away from the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate and transferred to the schismatic “Kyiv Patriarchate.”
