In this regard, the plant’s operating mode has been switched to 2 shifts, and some areas operate in 3 shifts. According to the director of the enterprise, Alexander Ostapts, the plant began fulfilling the state order in early July. “We had to postpone the implementation of a prestigious foreign agreement, since we are repairing our equipment out of turn2,” he emphasized.
In addition, the company overhauls and restores armored recovery vehicles and engines for self-propelled artillery units, and produces spare parts for armored vehicles that can be used in the ATO zone. The plant also produces anti-cumulative protective screens for armored vehicles.
“We quickly mastered this technology and are able to produce a certain number of sets of such protection and deliver them to their intended destination, and mobile repair teams will already install them on the equipment,” said the plant director, adding that in a few days 2 BREM-1 units will be ready for operation and 3 tank engines that have undergone major repairs.
In addition, the head of the enterprise emphasized that the Lviv Armored Plant specializes in the repair of T-72 tanks and armored special equipment at its base. But this modification is completely Russian-made, so the company has mastered the production of all spare parts independently.
As Navigator reported, earlier armored checkpoints and ambulances began to be produced in Nikolaev.
