As noted, in court decision, the young lieutenant decided to perform a feat of service and single-handedly bring to light the pharmacy mafia, which was engaged in the illegal distribution of potent drugs that are extremely popular with drug addicts.
For these purposes, the officer handed his informant a bunch of keys with a keychain in which a video camera and microphone were disguised and sent him to pharmacies to buy medicines “under the counter.” The deed was done, the facts of the illegal sale of drugs were recorded, and the lieutenant hastened to report his successes to management, but then he was disappointed, since instead of praise he received a criminal case for the illegal use of special technical means of obtaining information.
As a result, the court sentenced the policeman to a fine of 3400 hryvnia, and the pharmacy mafia can sleep peacefully as long as such “correct” bosses and prosecutors stand guard over the law.
