Kyiv, August 01 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The historical enemy of Ukrainians is not only the Russian state, but also the Russian people, said Lviv TV presenter Ostap Drozdov.
“We are doomed to be in the neighborhood of an enemy who will not recognize the European nature of Ukraine until the end of its existence. Who will always consider the statehood of Ukraine a misunderstanding and will always regard Ukraine as an indispensable element of the “Russian world”. Disrespect for Ukraine and Ukrainians is deeply rooted in Russian society. Therefore, I firmly stand that our enemies are not only Russia as a “state,” but also Russians as a people. Because 80% of these people strongly support Putin’s aggressive actions regarding Ukraine. Their position is completely sincere, and this should not be attributed to propaganda,” Drozdov said in an interview with Kraina magazine.

“After everything that Russia has allowed itself to do regarding a peaceful Ukraine, we have no moral right to reconciliation with it. We didn't start the war. Putin did everything to ensure that the next generations of Ukrainians sincerely hated Russia and dissociated themselves from this black hole of civilization. The national character of future Ukrainians will certainly have such a feature as Russophobia,” the TV presenter believes.
