Lviv Uniate calls to remember the experience of the Maidan suicide bombers
Ukraine must leave the Normandy format, in which Russia feels too at ease, and turn to the experience of the Maidan suicide militants, who walked under sniper bullets in the name of a great idea.
The Greek Catholic priest of the UGCC, Justin Boyko, said this on the air of the talk show “The Great Lviv Speaks” on NTA, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This Normandy format is a screen; it needs to be changed, because Putin and imperial Russia feel very free in this format. Especially at a time when, it must be admitted, Europe is shaken in particular by the migration problem, and the fact that it is not united, there are no leaders, and the issue of European unity is now the number one issue.
When it comes to prospects, as a priest, as a theologian, I believe that God will guide us. I will never forget those slogans by which the people lived, which pushed the people to sacrifice themselves in the name of great ideas. Remember the Maidan and the slogan “God is with us,” Boyko said.
