Lvov garbage will fill up the whole of Ukraine - now it will be taken to Nikolaev
On September 10, the mayor of Nikolaev, Alexander Senkevich, signed a decree “On the burial of solid household waste at the Nikolaev city landfill,” according to which the city will temporarily accept garbage coming from Lviv.

About it the mayor wrote on Facebook.
“The Lvov mayor Andrey Sadovyi approached me with a request for the temporary placement of solid household waste at the solid waste landfill in the city of Nikolaev, I signed the corresponding order. I think it’s right that Ukrainian cities help Lviv with the disposal of solid household waste. We must be one nation, one country in our daily affairs, and not just in declarations,” said Sienkiewicz.
He reassures that the increase in the volume of Lviv waste at the landfill will not in any way affect the environmental situation in Nikolaev.
Let us recall, as PolitNavigator previously reported, due to the catastrophic situation with garbage disposal in Lviv, Kyiv first agreed to accept the local garbage, and then Dnepropetrovsk.
