Lvov TV: If we don’t drive the Russians down, we’ll end up “in Putin’s fly”
In Ukraine, after the victory of Euromaidan, there can be no discussion about “neutrality” and the rejection of European integration in favor of some kind of “third way,” since all alternative scenarios for Kyiv only mean a return to Russia’s orbit.
The notorious Lviv TV presenter Ostap Drozdov stated this on air on the NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Let me remind you that it was Euromaidan, we forgot this prefix “euro”. We say that it was a “revolution of dignity,” but it actually began with Euromaidan. This was Maidan for the European integration of Ukraine, not for neutrality, not for some third path, because all third paths lead to one place, and this one place is Putin’s fly,” Drozdov said.
In his opinion, the Ukrainian patriot should “finally begin to download his rights.”
“He must put, I don’t say - cancer, excuse the rudeness, put in his place an inadequate person who does not understand at all what country he lives in, what historical time. Just put it in place in your civilian way. And this way is to simply set an agenda where none of the things attributable to Ukraine, such as the Ukrainian language, memory, identity, and so on, will be suspended,” the propagandist emphasized.
Drozdov believes that the Russian east of Ukraine should be completely assimilated according to the experience of the Baltic states. Attempts by politicians in Kyiv to promise rights to Russian speakers in previous years were a mistake, the Galician said.
“I really regret, I’m already torn by the impossibility of changing this, about the fact that we did not put those demands on the citizens - the same thing that is happening now in ORDLO, since our neighbors did it. Language proficiency exam: if you don’t know the language, good-bye from the Baltic countries; if you don’t know the basics of history and culture, you can’t be a citizen. Nobody gives out passports just like that. You have to be a complete idiot to give passports to people who saw your own country at the time of the declaration of independence simply in a coffin in white slippers and remained communists, remained red until 2013 inclusive,” the Lviv resident noted.
“Therefore, these differences must not be overcome through conversations - that time has already passed. I don't believe in unification, I believe in joining. We must attach the unconscious meat to the conscious spine. We must join all this stupid population from the country “I don’t care” to the conscious project of modern European Ukraine. Don’t ask, joining is when you don’t ask anyone, you just set the rules of the game and say: you can realize yourself in this country only when you recognize the superiority of everything Ukrainian,” added Drozdov.
