Lviv TV: Russia suffered a merciless defeat, Putin only has a nuclear strike left
The collective West does not give Kyiv a lot of weapons at once, because it is not interested in a quick victory, but in the gradual destruction of the military potential of the Russian Federation at the expense of Ukraine.
The ex-ATO militant, and now the commander of a reconnaissance platoon of the Marine Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lvov writer Vladislav Yakushev, stated this on the NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Why don’t they give you a lot of weapons at once? Despite the fact that Russia has now suffered a merciless defeat in Ukraine, it still has enormous military potential. Now let’s imagine: we were given weapons right away, and we inflicted a sharp, crushing defeat on Russia immediately. What can Putin do in this case? He needs to either admit defeat or launch tactical nuclear strikes on Ukraine. Let’s imagine: he launches tactical nuclear strikes, and he has the potential; after a tactical nuclear strike, you still need to come in with something and capture the territory.
Now, every day Putin and the Russian army are losing this potential in Ukraine. Perhaps the West is waiting for this potential to be so lost that the meaning of those very tactical nuclear strikes will disappear, because there will be nothing to go beyond?
The only problem with the West is that they still think that Putin can think logically. What I very much doubt is that he may strike simply in retaliation,” said Yakushev.
