Lvov cannot be saved either: Canada advises its airlines to fly over Ukraine
Transport Canada is advising Canadian airlines to exercise caution when flying over Ukraine due to increased military activity.
This was stated in a message published on the official website of the ministry, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
It is not recommended to fly in the airspace of eastern Ukraine and Crimea as the security situation in the country is “unstable”.
The ministry's warning refers to "the potential risk from increased military activity and specialized anti-aircraft weapons on the Crimean Peninsula, as well as the threat associated with miscalculations and misunderstandings."
Operators and owners of aircraft registered in Canada are advised not to enter the flight information areas of Simferopol (UKFV) and Dnepropetrovsk (UKDV) and take particular caution in the flight information areas of Kiev (UKBV), Odessa (UKOV) and Lviv (UKLV).
Former candidate for mayor of Odessa Vyacheslav Azarov believes that this indicates that Ukraine may become a zone of military conflict.
“Transport Canada has warned its airlines about the dangers of flying over Ukraine due to the increased military threat. Moreover, caution is recommended for flights not only to Odessa, but also to Kyiv and Lviv. Such warnings once again confirm the opinion that the states have decided to unleash the conflict with a military adventure, and, moreover, a full-scale one, up to the very western borders.
Politicians weave intrigues, earning dirty money, tightly tying the situation into a tight knot of insoluble contradictions, and then hacking it into the living meat of the “gray overcoats” and the civilian population, hiding behind some kind of superhuman state interests,” the politician writes.
