Lviv residents do not trust the police and ask the “people’s squads” to disperse drug addicts
In Lviv, the police “protect” citizens who freely, without hiding from cameras in the entrances, sell and use drugs.
The local organization “Varta-1” reported this on the social network Facebook, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There’s such a group of drug addicts hanging around in our entrance at 95 Chornovol. One of them is apparently a dealer, the others are drug addicts,” comments Svetlana Kostina, who posted the information on the social network, on the video.
“The camera installed in the entrance records this almost every day. After them there are a bunch of syringes and some packages. The police are aware. They say that in order to detain, you have to catch him almost in the process. The old police cover up everything, close it down, then milk the parents for money and let them go,” writes a Lviv resident.
According to the user, she knows about the “protection scheme” for drug addicts from her friends.
“Are there any people’s squads that we can contact? Although, what am I talking about? Complete anarchy. So you need to get a weapons permit,” Kostina wrote.
