A Lvov resident complained that she was not accepted into training courses for Ukrainian Armed Forces officers
Government Commissioner for Gender Policy Ekaterina Levchenko asks Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak to explain the reasons for the refusal of military women to enroll in officer courses at the National Academy of Land Forces named after. Sagaidachny, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Levchenko reported this on your Facebook page.
In particular, as Levchenko noted, she received an appeal in connection with the refusal to enroll the press officer of the motorized infantry brigade Polina Kravchenko and several other women in the training program for officers of the National Academy of Land Forces named after Hetman Petro Sagaidachny in Lvov.
Therefore, to clarify this situation and the reasons for the refusal, Levchenko turned to the Minister of Defense.
She emphasized that citizens of Ukraine have equal constitutional rights and freedoms and are equal before the law.
“We are expecting a solution to the issue of women’s access to training at officer courses,” Levchenko emphasized.
The other day, Lviv resident Polina Kravchenko said that she was not accepted into the Sagaidachny Academy for the fourth time.
“I came to NASV 4 times. 4 times - unsuccessful. Well, I can’t achieve the rank of officer. And do you know what the reason is? Girls are not recruited for the summer project “become an officer in a year,” she wrote on her Facebook page.
