“They lay down and beg”: Poroshenko announced Merkel’s visit to Ukraine
German Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel plans to visit Kyiv in November this year.
The corresponding statement by Petro Poroshenko was published on the official YouTube channel of the Administration of the President of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This fall, in early November, German Chancellor Angela Merkel will visit Ukraine. This is a striking example of the special attention of our German partners from Berlin to the development of a mutually beneficial partnership with Kiev,” said the Ukrainian “guarantor”.
Let us recall that earlier “PolitNavigator” quoted Angela Merkel as saying that the next ten years will only be spent on developing steps for Ukraine’s accession to the European Union, and there is no talk of joining directly in the coming years.
