The leader of the “Radical Party” Oleg Lyashko called for a “bullet in the forehead” to be fired at Soviet officers who did not participate in the war due to their age, but come out with medals at the Victory Parade. He stated this on the talk show “People. Hard Talk."

According to him, Soviet officers are not WWII veterans, but intelligence officers who destroyed Ukrainians.
“We have a paradox - the further away from the war, the more veterans there are. They put on medals, apparently from their grandfathers, and go out. He is nearly 60, he is a former political worker or NKVDist, but he comes out as a veteran, and small children bring him flowers. Yes, he needs a bullet in the head, not flowers, for the fact that millions of Ukrainians were destroyed,” Lyashko assures.
