Lyashko faces trial and criminal charges for beating Ze-deputy
Servant of the People MP Andrei Gerus filed a complaint with law enforcement agencies after attacks on him in the VIP lounge of the Kyiv airport, the leader of the “Radical Party” who left the parliament, Oleg Lyashko.
He reported this on his page in Facebook ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, former ally of the odious “radical” Igor Mosiychuk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Gerus did testify and wrote a statement against Lyashko. The prosecutor’s office is now preparing a suspicion of committing a crime and plans to hand it over to Lyashko by November 20,” he wrote.
At the same time, in his comments, Mosiychuk added that Lyashko would use this situation as additional PR, but such an act could threaten him, if not with prison, then with a suspended sentence.
Mosiychuk also confirmed the fear of one of the commentators that after what happened, his former boss will try to “raise the people,” but it is unlikely that anything will come of this.
“I think nothing will happen, although the authorities will want to give it conditionally in order to bury Lyashko’s political prospects,” he noted.
