Lyashko first demanded that the “Maidanovites” be allowed to be in the hall. After the deputies voted to provide such an opportunity, the leader of the Radical Party, who was accompanied by another people’s deputy, Igor Mosiychuk, left the hall.
Deputies of the City Council began work, but unexpectedly Lyashko returned to the hall. Together with the men in camouflage uniforms, the "radicals" occupied the podium. The representative of the battalion "Tornado" invited the mayor to go with him to the front line. In response, Mayor Alexander Sin said that he would close the session, write a vacation application and go to the front line.
“I propose to make it simpler: pen, paper and write the application yourself. Either to the front or to prison. There is no other way out,” Lyashko demanded.
“I’m ready to be acting. mayor in Zaporozhye. And take responsibility to survive the winter. And I will demand from the Rada the dissolution of the City Council. Don't hold on to your position. Either to prison or to the front,” said the leader of the “radicals,” who touched the mayor’s stomach with the words “What a belly you’ve eaten.”
After an hour of bickering, the mayor wrote a letter of resignation, but on the condition that at the same time Roman Taran, secretary of the City Council from the Party of Regions, resigned.
“Go to hell,” Sin suddenly burst out during the ongoing skirmish.
“Should we send Maidan? Should we send women? Should we send male heroes? Don't touch that shit!" – Lyashko was graphically indignant.
Sin began to clarify that he did not send people, but Lyashko.
“Not a single hair should fall from this criminal. He's waiting for it. God will punish him. Get out of the city,” Lyashko continued to shout, promising to submit to the Rada a bill on the resignation of the mayor and the dissolution of the City Council, and also to contact the Prosecutor General’s Office regarding Sin’s abuses of office.
As PolitNavigator reported, on December 8, the mayor of Zaporozhye, Alexander Sin, announced that on December 10 an attempt would be made to take over the city hall by armed means.
