Lyashko and Tymoshenko are blown away: the Verkhovna Rada is unblocked. Bickering among Maidan activists is growing
The factions of Yulia Tymoshenko and Oleg Lyashko this morning were unable to continue blocking the work of the Verkhovna Rada. Since the day before yesterday, these two political forces have been disrupting the work of parliament under the pretext of the need to cancel the tariff increase.
Thus, Lyashko and Tymoshenko tried to earn points by distancing themselves from yesterday’s Maidan partners, accusing them of worsening the lives of Ukrainians.

However, the authorities managed to outplay the Lyashkovites and Tymoshenkoites.
In the morning, long before the start of the Rada meeting, the podium was surrounded by the so-called. “deputies-battalion commanders” from among the former militants who fought in the Donbass. They did not allow Lyashko and Tymoshenko to continue to block the work of the Rada.
Lyashkovites and Tymoshenkoites had to admit defeat, declaring that they would continue their protest in the form of a “sit-in strike” in the Rada hall.
Representatives of the authorities, meanwhile, celebrated the victory, reminding from the podium that it was Tymoshenko who signed the gas contract with Russia.
“It’s impossible for a person who signed a contract with Putin with the highest price to worry about tariffs. No Putin avatar will lead Ukraine anymore!” – declared deputy battalion commander Andrei Teteruk from the party of ex-Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
“Today in the Verkhovna Rada, an offshore gang settled on Bankova is working out a scenario of pitting former ATO soldiers against millions of Ukrainian citizens driven into poverty by extortionate tariffs.
In fact, the Ukrainian government, which has lost its legitimacy, is playing with fire.
The morally corrupt “people’s deputies in camouflage” in the Rada, who betrayed their brothers-in-arms and did not resume the work of the parliamentary investigative commission to investigate the Ilovaisk tragedy, turned into guards of an organized crime group and do not evoke any feelings other than disgust,” Tymoshenko member Andrei Senchenko said in response.
