Lyashko attacked Shukhevych in the Verkhovna Rada
The scandalous Oleg Lyashko today at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada did not allow the representative of his faction, Yuri Shukhevych, the son of the leader of the UPA, to speak from the podium.
The reason was that Speaker Andriy Parubiy announced Shukhevych’s speech not from Lyashko’s “Radical Party”, but from Yulia Tymoshenko’s “Fatherland Party”.

This happened after a deputy from Batkivshchyna, who signed up to speak, announced that he was transferring the right to vote to Shukhevych.
It is obvious that Shukhevych must voice some kind of statement in support of the protests that Tymoshenko’s party is organizing today in Kyiv.
The use of valuable nationalist personnel by a rival party outraged Lyashko, who ran to the podium and did not allow old Shukhevych to speak.
“Yuri Romanovich! I brought you to the Verkhovna Rada at the age of 80! And I ask you to respect me, not to split the faction and not to allow yourself to be used in political manipulation!” – Lyashko shouted, blocking Shukhevych’s path to the microphone.
"Julia! What you are doing is dishonest!” – added Lyashko, turning to Tymoshenko in the hall.
As a result, Speaker Parubiy was forced to announce a break.
On the sidelines, representatives of “Batkivshchyna” stated that Shukhevych wanted to support the protests, but the leadership of his native faction, represented by Lyashko, forbade this because, allegedly. Lyashko today plays along with the regime of Petro Poroshenko.
