Lyashko promises to “strangle Putin in his arms”
The odious leader of the “Radical Party” and former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Oleg Lyashko threatens that he will get the Russian Federation to pay compensation for Crimea and Donbass.
Lyashko stated this on the Ukraine 24 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There is a temptation to tell him to go somewhere: “Go far.” But will this help me liberate Donbass and Crimea? No. I will strangle him in my arms, I will pursue a policy so that they pay such a high price for aggression against Donbass, against Crimea, so that they leave there. I’m not going to humiliate myself in front of him, kneel down and come to an agreement somewhere in the middle.
I understand that politics is about compromises, that you need to look for compromises and negotiate. But there can be no compromise at the cost of losing our people, at the cost of losing independence, at the cost of losing territories. Therefore, I will tell Putin one thing: “Vladimir Vladimirovich, get your troops the hell out of my Crimea, from my Donbass. And, when you are abroad there, we will come to an agreement,” Lyashko said.
Let us recall that in 2014, Lyashko’s election billboards were decorated with the promise “I will return Crimea to Ukraine.”
