We are talking about lands worth approximately 18 million UAH, which since 2002 the local city council has transferred from the forest fund for development. This happened illegally, since such operations must be coordinated with the Cabinet of Ministers.
About 150 people received participation; most of the territory is controlled through dummies by the ex-head of the customs officer, the ex-vice speaker of the Verkhovna Rada and the ex-communist Igor Kaletnik, the publication claims.
As the newspaper writes, among the owners of the plots was deputy Lyashko, who, however, then transferred the land to the above-mentioned Kaletnik, but still appears in court proceedings - the prosecutor's office included him among the defendants.
Today in Irpen, Kyiv region, a regular meeting is being held on the scandalous land case.
