Lyashko: While Zelensky is clowning around in Kyiv, Russia has begun to win
The controversial deputy Oleg Lyashko, whose party, according to the Ukrainian press, is sponsored by the oligarch Rinat Akhmetov, who “puts his eggs” in different baskets, continues to voice sharp criticism of Vladimir Zelensky - apparently, including because of the threats of the oligarch Igor Kolomoisky to start “ dispossession" of Akhmetov under the new president.
“The latest personnel appointments (Zelensky - ed.) indicate that the credit of trust is very quickly squandered. Remember what Poroshenko’s entourage was accused of: that he appointed all his business partners, childhood friends, in the army, in business, to government positions - Gladkovsky, Svinarchuk, Kononenko, Gradnovsky, and God knows who else he attracted, Pasynuk, then his relative’s head at Ukreximbank, Gontarev’s property fund, Vorushilin’s – that is, Poroshenko appointed his own to manage all more or less corrupt money flows. What did Zelensky do? He’s doing the same thing, look, he’s turning the whole country into “District 95,” Lyashko said on the NewsOne channel.
“I see a lot of dangers in the economy. By the end of the year, we must pay more than $5 billion in domestic and foreign currency debts, plus 60 billion hryvnia in domestic government bonds. This money was to be repaid through new loans, in particular, the IMF was to give two and a half billion dollars, the European Commission was to give 500 million euros, and the World Bank was to give 500 million dollars.
After Zelensky dissolved the government, dissolved the Rada, the IMF mission left without any decisions, the European Commission and the World Bank are not giving this money, they said that they would consider providing this money after the elections and the formation of a new government, which at best will end in October. This means that Ukraine is entering a serious phase of economic turbulence,” the deputy added.
“I want to warn about the threats that stand on the European front related to the return of the Russian delegation to PACE. A PACE meeting is scheduled for June, the agenda has already been formed, in particular, the return of the Russian delegation. No one in Ukraine is talking about this, no one in Ukraine is saying that today we are catastrophically losing on international fronts.
Taking advantage of the fact that there is now chaos in Ukraine, legal uncertainty, chaos, lack of power, Russia is not asleep, it is using all its capabilities to attack, and today they are winning victories in the international arena at the expense of Ukraine,” added Oleg Lyashko .
