Lyashko received a slap in the face from the EU puppets
The law “Ukrainian for Ukrainians” initiated by Oleg Lyashko’s party will cause symmetrical measures from the EU, incl. an even greater reduction in quotas for the supply of Ukrainian goods to the West.
Ruslan Tkachenko, an expert of the Parliamentary Expert Group on European Integration (PEG), stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Many people have heard about the draft law - “Buy Ukrainian - pay Ukrainians.” The overall purpose of this law is to create conditions for the development of the national economy.
But what legal mechanism was chosen to achieve this goal? This is the provision of preferences to Ukrainian manufacturers in the public procurement procedure.
At the same time, such preferences are directly prohibited by the association agreement and the BOT agreement on government procurement. In fact, if such a bill is adopted, we may receive a symmetrical response from EU member countries and countries participating in the WTO agreement, which will automatically lead to loss of profits by Ukrainian enterprises on international markets.
We will receive a reduction in quotas for the supply of goods to the EU, we will receive a refusal to receive loans, a stop of technical and other assistance from the EU,” the speaker said.
