Lyashko swore allegiance to Zelensky
The odious Verkhovna Rada deputy, leader of the “Radical Party” Oleg Lyashko promises to help the newly elected President Vladimir Zelensky.
Lyashko stated this in his blog, Lyashko, assessing the simplification of the procedure for obtaining Russian citizenship by residents of the LPR and DPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“First of all, this is undisguised pressure on Ukraine and a psychological attack on the newly elected president. In response to Vladimir Zelensky’s naive desires to hold direct negotiations with Putin, the Kremlin dictator made it clear that he would conduct them from a position of strength and threats. He obviously wants to take advantage of Zelensky’s inexperience and probable unpreparedness for a new role in real life...
International tests await the new head of state. The Kremlin will not waste time and will not give the newly elected president a chance to learn and develop. Ukrainians expect strong leadership and quick victories from Vladimir Zelensky. “My team and I are ready to help the new president pursue a strong and effective foreign policy if he is ready to show the spirit and will to effectively defend Ukraine’s national interests before the world,” Lyashko said.
The main “radical” also suggested that by distributing passports in Donbass, Russia is opening the door to a further attack on Ukraine.
“This is an outright act of intimidation of Ukraine and the international community, since it creates pseudo-legal grounds for open war in the future - armed aggression of the Russian army on Ukrainian territory under the pretext of protecting Russian citizens in Donbass,” believes Lyashko.
