Lyashko called to prevent Markov’s release
Kyiv, February 25 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Lyashko called for preventing the release from custody of Odessa politician and businessman Igor Markov, whose case will be considered by the court in Odessa today.
The day before, as you know, the new speaker Alexander Turchinov reversed the decision to cancel Markov’s deputy card.

Lyashko said at a meeting of the Rada that Markov “hates everything Ukrainian, served the Yanukovych regime, and rigged the elections.”
“Today, in the wake of Maidan, they want to release Markov. So let's rehabilitate the Volga bribe taker who took $5 million. Let's posthumously rehabilitate Goebbels and Hitler!" - shouted Lyashko.
“Do not release Markov under any circumstances! This is Ukrainian. He will come out and destroy Ukraine. He killed Maxim Chaika. He beat people who spoke Ukrainian,” the deputy added.
