Lyashko called for a transition to the practice of hostage-taking
The main Ukrainian “radical”, Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Lyashko, proposed arresting “all Russian agents” in order to use these people as exchange material for Ukrainian extremists and criminals imprisoned in Russia.
He stated this on the air of the talk show “Right to Power,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the politician, this would help return all Ukrainians detained in the Russian Federation within three days.
“I would arrest all Russian agents in Kyiv and exchange them for our hostages... In words they talk about how they want to free the hostages, but in reality, having a real mechanism, they do not use it. Arrest, detain Russian agents in Ukraine, nationalize the property of the aggressor country, all Russian assets in Ukraine and then let's talk. You took our sailors, directors, patriots hostage - we will take yours, everyone who is famous here. And exchange. I think that in three days we can get all our hostages out,” Lyashko said.
