Lyashko told how the United States humiliated Ukraine in the presence of Poroshenko
The West forced Ukraine to give up nuclear weapons, promising border protection, and is now trying to pay off Kyiv with the transfer of decommissioned border boats.
The leader of the Radical Party, the odious people's deputy Oleg Lyashko, said this on air on Mariupol TV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“These are XNUMX-year-old boats that Libya abandoned. The boats are forty years old, and the president takes part in the ceremony of handing over scrap metal,” Lyashko was indignant.
“We have Nikolaev, Kherson, and Odessa factories. I will not let anyone humiliate Ukraine and Ukrainians by handing them rubbish in exchange for the Budapest Memorandum. We were the third nuclear potential in the world, and today they give us two forty-year-old boats, they say, we are helping you with defense. The president should not humiliate himself at these ceremonies, but do everything to revive shipbuilding in the country,” added the controversial people’s deputy.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier in the United States at the Baltimore military base, the United States "to Ukrainian natives" two decommissioned Island-class patrol boats were solemnly handed over. President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko personally took part in the ceremony.
