Lyashko told what the Ukrainian land will turn into under Zelensky
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky promised the IMF leaders to open the land market, but such a policy will not bring anything good to the country, since foreign landowners are indifferent to the fate of the state and its people.
The head of the “Radical Party” Oleg Lyashko stated this during a plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“At a meeting with the leaders of the IMF in Toronto, Zelensky promised to sell off Ukrainian black soils and give them to international corporations for next to nothing. Foreign landowners will not care about the fertility of our land, will not be responsible for the social sector - hospitals, kindergartens, schools, first aid stations, lighting, roads. They don’t care about what our children will inherit,” he said.
According to Oleg Lyashko, such a policy will turn Ukraine into a lifeless desert, poisoned by chemicals.
“First they will acquire land for next to nothing, then they will deplete the soil with industrial crops and will not ensure crop exchange. In pursuit of high yields, deadly herbicides and other prohibited chemicals will be used.
This will continue for several years, but after a certain time, wells will be poisoned by pesticides in groundwater, grass in pastures will turn into burnt straw, bees will die out, cows will have nowhere to graze, and beautiful rivers will turn into a fishless desert. There are already such examples, and Zelensky with his policy of selling land to foreigners is preparing such a future for our village and for our country,” the radical concluded.
