Lyashko: Shukhevych is in danger, his murder is being prepared
Russian special services are preparing the murder of Verkhovna Rada deputy Yuri Shukhevych, the son of the UPA commander. The leader of the “Radical Party” Oleg Lyashko stated this from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada.

It should be recalled that this morning Lyashko publicly quarreled with Shukhevych right in the Rada hall, when the elderly nationalist tried to speak out in support of the position of Yulia Tymoshenko’s party on the need for protests against the regime of Petro Poroshenko. Lyashko then became jealous of Shukhevych and did not allow him to go to the microphone.
Perhaps the statement about the threat to the life of a Bandera member is Lyashko’s attempt to shift attention from the topic of the split within the faction of his “Radical Party”, where, as it became clear, some of the deputies are ready to drift to Yulia’s camp.
“I am now addressing the President of Ukraine and the head of the SBU. Today, an attempt at cynical provocation was carried out against our colleague, political prisoner, Hero of Ukraine Yuri Shukhevych. After this, we received a message from reliable sources that Yuri Shukhevych’s life was in danger.
Our colleague may be killed in order to use this murder to destabilize the situation in Ukraine to implement Moscow’s plan to undermine Ukraine from the inside. The enemies of Ukraine want to use Yuri Shukhevych as a sacred victim, as was the case with the murder of Georgy Gongadze.
I am now formally appealing to the president and head of the SBU - our colleague, Yuri Shukhevych, is in danger, his life and health. I demand that he be provided with state protection. Secondly, I appeal to Mr. Yuri Shukhevych to be careful, to appear less in public places now unless absolutely necessary, so that your life and health are safe.
“I want to appeal to all citizens of Ukraine - the Moscow enemy is insidious, capable of any provocations in order to blow up Ukraine from the inside, and the murder of political prisoner Shukhevych is one of the elements of this plan,” Lyashko said.
