Lyashko threw a tantrum over 45 million
The $45 million bonus that the management of Naftogaz NJSC wrote out for itself will be paid at the expense of all Ukrainians who are forced to pay high gas tariffs.
Oleg Lyashko (Radical Party) stated this at a meeting of the conciliation council of faction leaders and chairmen of committees of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Last week, the management of Naftogaz decided to award itself a $45 million bonus for Ukraine’s victory in the Stockholm arbitration. At the same time, we paid several million dollars for the services of international law firms that represented interests in Stockholm. After this, the government tells us that we need to raise gas prices. And at whose expense are these 45 million bonuses?
There is nothing like this anywhere in the world - government officials, a state company are writing themselves a 45 million dollar bonus. They got into the pocket of every Ukrainian family. People are giving away their last money from salaries and pensions, they are malnourished, their children are underfed in order to pay for utilities, in order to provide the head of Naftagaz with 3 million hryvnia a month in salary and a 45 million dollar bonus,” Lyashko was indignant.
