Lyashko in Donbass and Lyashko in Rada are four different people
The main “radical” of Ukraine, Oleg Lyashko, is not so much irreconcilable in his nationalist views as he is capable of radically changing his political rhetoric when coming to Donbass. Therefore, it will not be surprising if he becomes one of the leaders of electoral sympathies in this region.

Ukrainian political scientist Alexey Minakov stated this on Radio Liberty, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now I don’t see a problem for people (in the Kyiv-controlled Donbass - Ed.) to switch from the Opposition Bloc to Lyashko. At the same time, I would not say that he is such a straight “ultra”; we also have more radical elements in the form of the same “Svoboda” Tyagnibok. That is, he is not quite such a nationalist to the core. Therefore, I don’t see any special obstacles to people voting for him (in Donbass-Ed),” Minakov is sure.
“I see how interesting his rhetoric changes when he comes to Donbass, puts on a Shakhtar T-shirt, and visits enterprises. We know that Lyashko is a very famous populist who knows how to flirt with the population. Accordingly, he says what these regional residents like to hear,” the political scientist added.
